Inspiration Board: Wild Wedding

I like to take a particular idea/concept/style and infuse it throughout an event in the details.  Going over the top and having the event decked in animal print would at every turn would be fine…but its just not how I would do it.  My idea, though, is that you can combine all sorts of animal prints and create a cohesive style!  Here are a selection of details I would go for.

Top Left and Across

The Invitations: Zebra Print Invites set the initial tone.  Found on Ephemera Blog

The Decor: Varied Animal Print Votives.  Found on AllForYourWedding.com

The Cake: You could do each layer a different animal print….but I like simplicity better.  Leopard print bands are an elegant touch here.  Found on Sweetretreat

The Bridal Jewelry: Kenneth Lane Crystal Pave Animal Print Cuff…a lovely accent that makes a statement without overpowering the bride’s ensemble.  Found on Avelle - The New Bag Borrow and Steal

The Bridesmaids: Love the look!  But I would reverse the dress and shoes…black dress with red shoes!  But of course keep the belt.  You could even have each girl with a different print belt!  Found on LasFashionistas Blog

The Guys: I often neglect the fellas, but here’s a little something for you!  You COULD wear an animal print bow tie, but somehow I don’t think that would go over too well.  Instead, accent with a nice pair of cuff links.  Found on Etsy.com

The Bouquets: This bouquet has a very slim ribbon accent…I would be more bold.  Single color for the followers but I would have the stems wrapped entirely in black and then criss-cross the animal print ribbon all the way down!  Found on JillianandMatt.com - A couple’s wedding website!

Cheers!
Alicia
